A credit limit is the maximum amount of money a lender allows you to borrow using a credit card or line of credit. In simple terms, it's like a spending cap. If your credit limit is 10,000 NGN, you can only spend up to that amount.
Your credit limit is assigned based on your credit score, financial history, and other factors. The limit represents the maximum amount you can borrow at any time.
When we issue you credit, the transactions you make with the money are recorded over a 28-day billing cycle, followed by a 14-day grace period where no interest is charged if you pay your balance in full.
Interest rates vary based on your credit score: • Low-Risk Borrowers (Credit Score 700-850): From 3% per month • Medium-Risk Borrowers (Credit Score 600-699): From 5% per month • High-Risk Borrowers (Credit Score 300-599): From 7% to 10% per month
Yes, some key fees include: • ATM/POS Withdrawal Fee: 20 NGN per withdrawal • Bank transfer Fee: 50 NGN (This is the government-mandated Electronic Money Transfer Levy for transfers above 10,000 NGN)
If you default: • Interest will accrue on unpaid balances • Your credit score will be negatively impacted • We may take legal action or use debt collection technology to recover unpaid amounts
Yes, you are encouraged to pay more than the minimum to reduce your interest charges and improve your credit score.
